The Philippines is one of the largest exporters of Overseas Foreign Workers (OFW’s) with an estimated 11 million Filipinos working abroad sending back an estimated 235.9 billion pesos (4.6 billion USD) to support their loved ones. The nature of their occupation has put widespread hardships and strain on families and relatives close to the workers. In this documentary, the positive & negative impact of OFW’s are told through the story of Lorna Marollano, a former OFW.
